How it works
An actuator is mounted on the valve. When it receives a signal, it turns or moves the valve stem to open, close or position the valve, without anyone operating it by hand.
Best when manual operation is not practical
Motorized Valves suit lines that are far from the operator, hard to reach, large in size, or tied to an automated process. For simple manual isolation, a gate valve is often enough.
Other options
For fine flow regulation, a globe valve gives closer control. To stop reverse flow, fit a swing check valve.
